The Story
More than

just beats.
It started with a classical guitar in Bern at age 8. What followed was a journey through school bands, home studios, and late-night Ableton sessions – until the first track as Jerry Spoon dropped in 2017.
Today I produce Organic House & Downtempo, curate playlists for 500k+ listeners, run my own label, and build digital products. Self-employed since 2020, based in Bern – always driven by curiosity and the urge to create.

2000
First Guitar
Got my first classical guitar and started taking lessons in Bern. The beginning of everything.
2003
The Band Years
Joined a youth band. Live shows at festivals, Gaskessel, Bierhübeli – five years of stages and loud nights.
2008
Finding a Sound
Years of solo projects and musical experiments. Dadaistic endeavors like Karl Häfliger – trying everything, finding a voice.
2013
Digital Production
Discovered Ableton Live. Started experimenting with electronic beats alongside guitar recordings.
2015
The Shared Studio
WG living room turned studio. Dachterrassen-Parties, Trip-Hop, and the first steps toward Organic House.
2017
Jerry Spoon is Born
"After Fall" – the first official single. A new identity, a new sound, a new chapter.
2018
Sound Engineering & Going Vegan
Studied sound engineering with a focus on room acoustics. Went vegan for ecological reasons – stayed for the animals.
2020
Self-Employment
Took the leap. Music production, sound engineering, and the freedom to build whatever comes next.
2021
International Labels
Releases on WAYU Records, HMWL, Pipe & Pochet, Cafe de Anatolia. The sound reaches the world.
2022
Camper & Europe
Built a Mercedes Sprinter camper. One year on the road through Europe. Producing music from everywhere.
2023
Behind the Decks
Started DJing. From producer to performer. Taking the sound from the studio to the stage.

Building Beyond Music
Launched Lauterknall, Unique Playlists. From artist to entrepreneur.
